The Pillars Of Success

The pillars of success

HOW TO BUILD YOUR DREAMS ON STRONG FOUNDATIONS. THE PROCESS OF SUCCESS.

Many business owners and people looking to grow their businesses lose track of the most important component to the success of their companies. Do not get me wrong; this article is not just destined for people who own a business, but for anyone looking to achieve any goal(s) in their life. People get caught-up in daily struggles, hard work, and constant competition in order to one day see some form of results at the horizon. Thousands and millions of people are waking up each morning with one thought in their mind, to reach their goals and to finally become “truly happy”. All the hard work put by all these people is inspiring and goes beyond our imagination. The amount of sacrifices that are being made surpasses what one can imagine, making it particularly sad to see when people fail despite all the efforts they are putting toward fulfilling their dreams.

HARD WORK NEVER DIRECTLY EQUALS SUCCESS.

Yes, there is such thing as failure. Hard work does not equal achieving the right results. You may achieve some results but not the results you are seeking. An aligned State is the root to all successes. It is the secret weapon behind every person who has achieved his or her wanted goals and objectives. You need to align your actions with the right mindset in order to take the right actions and achieve the specific results you are seeking. Working hard is like blindly shooting at birds, it is not accurate, not efficient and hardly leads to any results. You may get lucky once or twice, but as I said, that was luck.

THE SIMPLE PROCESS OF SUCCESS

It is crucial for you to understand the basics; the understanding of this cycle is necessary. Loading is the first step to all success. If your gun is not loaded, it is a waste of time to aim or even shoot.

But before starting this process you need to explore the context of it, you need to learn the rules of the game. In order for you to develop strong foundations, your current mindset (state), of the here and now needs to be aligned with the actions you will take and the results you will achieve (reward). Stop doing anything you are doing right now (shooting) or even preparing your next move (aiming), it is time to readjust the engine first and take care of your state (loading).

1
STEP 1 LOAD IF YOU WANT TO TAKE A SHOT (STATE)

Make sure you load yourself with energy, positivity, vision, knowledge and love before you do anything else. Do not waste your time aiming when you have no bullets in the chamber. Instead load, make sure the gun is cleaned up, make sure you have the right material and then you can move on to the next steps.

MAJOR STATES YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO

There are 3 major categories that have an impact on the mindset of a person. The first one is the person’sgeneral way of thinking, the second is the way they use their physical body and the third one is the way they control their emotional state.

2

By working on these 3 components and mastering them, your life will drastically change. Yes, there are many other components that will also give you a boost toward a successful life, such as developing a routine, surrounding yourself with the right people, breathing correctly, constant hydrationetc. Before taking actions, before you sail the boat, you need to make sure the boat is ready for the trip, because you do not want to land somewhere totally different than what you had planned or worse, not finishing the trip at all.You need to master the basics, the 3 elements that will shape your success and clear the view, so you can see before aiming.

#1 COGNITIVE STATE:
DO YOU BELIEVE YOU WILL SHOOT THE TARGET?

Thinking can secretly build or destroy your dreams. The way you view your current life, the way you speak to yourself, others, and even your perception of the current environment have a huge impact on the mindset that you will develop. I will not go into much detail because I have another article that only focuses on the power of our thoughts, but the main goal here is to get you to realize that every thought that runs through your mind will impact your current mindset. Start by appreciating what you have in your life right now, even if you see it as something that is not worth celebrating. By surrounding yourself with positive and gratefulthinking you will start attracting that same energy into your life, and that is just the beginning.

#2 PHYSICAL STATE:
IS YOUR BODY TRAINED AND READY?

Your physical body mirrors what happens in your mind. With time as well as the accumulation of habits, your body will become the master of your mind. When the body enters the comfort zone, it is very hard to get it out of it. You can say I will do all these things, but your body will refuse. When I talk about the body, I am referring to the whole physical body, including the brain. So, when the body refuses to listen to your commands, that is the beginning of all your struggles. Your way of walking, talking, looking into others’ eyes, eating and exercisingand even the gestures you make, are all reflections of your lifestyle. Be aware of the importance of how you treat your body and you will slowly start fighting the need to listen to that comfort zone’s voice, and slowly you will become the master of your body.

#3 EMOTIONAL STATE:
DO YOU FEEL OFTEN DISCOURAGED?

The way you feel determines your destiny. This is the most important stage toward creating a strong foundation in order to achieve your dreams. Many people think that it is impossible to have control over our emotional state and that we need to work more on the two other states. My strategies work on all 3 levels simultaneously. You can work on your emotions, manage them, and become the creator of the emotions you want to feel in your life. Yes, it is possible to do that; in fact, it is possible for you to turn your negative, self-defeating emotions into positive ones. Thinking positively and having control over your body will surely help, but paying attention to how you react to certain situations is a must in order to understand what angers you and what makes you happy. Developing an emotional baseline is a great start. Understanding yourself internally is the gate to external successes.

STEP 2
AIM BEFORE TAKING A SHOT (ALIGNING)

The success you are looking for will only occur if you put all your energy toward a single point. Humans have infinite potential but sadly many let go of that energy by putting it everywhere. Make sure you set goals, you put yourself in the right state and then aim for specific actions. Then shoot. You will not waste any bullets because every action you take (shot you fire) will bring results. Then you can base yourself on a solid learning experience, because you can miss the target many times, but each miss is a step closer to a hit.

STEP 3
SHOOT WHILE KEEPING YOUR EYES ON TARGET (ACTION)

This is where mistakes are accepted and you could even say that mistakes do not exist. As mentioned earlier, at this specific stage, mistakes are called learning experiences. You may have to re-load at times in order to keep creating opportunities (routine) and keep aiming until your shooting skills become so good that you will never miss anymore. At this stage, you know your final objective, but you also know your micro-objectives. You also enjoy what you are doing even though you are aiming higher. At this stage, every missed shot is priceless, in fact you do not care if you missed it because you know that next time you shoot, your aim will be more stable, your breathing calmer, and your shot closer to target. You know that at this stage if you get distracted, if you think you won’t succeed and if you do not believe in yourself that you will miss your shots. So, keep your head up, re-load and shoot some more.

STEP 4
GET THE REWARDS BUT KEEP THE FUN ALIVE (RESULTS)

Your shots started to hit the target. You are observing and getting rewarded for all of your hard work. This is inevitable, if you followed the steps correctly this will happen, but this is not the end, in fact it is the beginning. You just learned the rules of the game, now the real game will start. Because you started to enjoy it so much, that you are now participating in shooting competitions. Many other components are added, you have a bigger gun, bigger target, longer distances, and more than one bullet to load at the time. Keep in mind that in order to play the big game you need to start by learning how to play. This process does not take very long to learn, trust me, but it is a process that will take you very far if applied well. Always load, take your time when aiming, shoot with certainty and if you start hitting your target, move to more challenging ones. What nobody is telling you that you will not really reach a destination, in fact you will never reach a stopping point. As long as life continues you will keep the process of loading, aiming, shooting and moving up the ladders of success. At the end of the day you are your own best friend and your own worst enemy, decide which one you feed.
